What is the Color Category?
OFF-WHITE – because of its Value of 9.25 and Chroma of 0.98. Acadia White has a nice balance of brightness and colorfulness which always makes for a flexible color of off-white. It sits near the middle of the yellow hue family so it’s less likely to shift and show up peachy or pink. It has a fair amount of Chroma so if you’re looking for a warm off-white for a north facing room, this one could work.
Also, because it does have a a healthy bump of Chroma, it will work with most colors of white. Just make sure there’s a difference in Chroma of about 0.20 between the two colors. It’s a handy rule of thumb to make sure one color of white/off-white doesn’t make the other look dingy or dirty.
