Hi everyone, really needing some help here on white trim. Total house reno with addition and we have two ceiling colors in play right now. One is chantilly lace in the older part of house and BM snowfall white in new part. Is there a white trim color that could work with both well? I have loads of samples up. Chantilly for trim seems a bit off for the areas with snowfall trim. I also have farrow name ball All White painted up on a window. That one seems like it could possibly work but wondering if it’s a wee bit stark.

I saw that Lori has a white she reccomended but it’s out of stock. Not sure if I can at least buy the formula and sample that but if it’s an option I’d gladly try it! I welcome any suggestions!

i have tried simply white and it’s a little creamy in a few rooms. I’m not sure my perfect color exists! We have medium brown wood floors and natural stone including marble. Also some cypress ceilings in a refined soft honey brown finish. With warm and cool We need a bridge color!

Thanks for any advice you can share!

@tonzflorida The best color in between Chantilly Lace and Snowfall White is BM OC-57 White Heron.  It sits in the middle for hue family and chroma:

Snowfall White 1.28 GY C0.44

White Heron 2.60 GY C0.36

Chantilly Lace 2.98 GY C0.26

You could also use Chantilly Lace in a different sheen as your trim color. It's not as stark as F&B All White, but it's still pretty neutral and works with Snowfall White.  The reverse would work as well - Snowfall White is a bit warmer and might look great with the warm wood tones in your home.

Hope that helps!

Emilee

Thanks so much, Emilee! This is really helpful. I’m off to try White Heron as that’s a great suggestion! I played on my garage and mixed half snowfall and half chantilly- it looks kind of nice but not sure that’s a practical approach! We shall see how White Heron works!
